Welcome to Meet the Teacher...
My name is Ms. Stephanie Pepper and have been working with children for over fifteen years. I have worked in many capacities including teaching Pre-K, Directing both Preschool and School-age After Care programs and my most recent experience prior to entering the traditional teaching field was managing five School-age After Care programs and five Summer Camp programs. In each position that I have worked I have taken pride in learning and growing personally and professionally. I have learned patience, organization, compassion, and I have a strong focus on being character driven throughout my life and classroom.
I believe that children are our most precious treasures and deserve to have a safe and stimulating learning environment. My teaching style is inclusive to all children and I believe in obtaining a stimulating classroom to develop each child's individual needs. I will be facilitating our classroom learning through the constructivism approach. I believe that children learn best through hands on experiences and reflections. Children will have the opportunity to experiment and discuss findings throughout many assignments. I will also focus on building long lasting friendships in our class.
